Keeping Conclave safe

Conclave Search is built to keep illegal content out of its results. Our measures include:

• A fail-closed safety gate: nothing can enter the index without passing automated content checks first.
• Blocklisting of known unsafe websites, applied before a page is ever fetched.
• Adult-content filtering so pornographic material is kept out of general results.
• Known-child-sexual-abuse image matching: images are fingerprinted and checked against authoritative known-bad hash lists; any match is blocked and recorded. Image results are held to trusted sources until this protection is fully active.
• A report mechanism (below) so anyone can flag content for review, plus prompt removal of confirmed illegal content.

Report child sexual abuse material

Images or videos of child sexual abuse should be reported directly to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) — the UK body responsible for removing this content. You can report anonymously.
